Sterlite Power struggles to raise funds amid management churn

Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd (SPTL) is witnessing a churn in its senior management, as the Vedanta group company struggles to raise fresh funds and faces delays in project completion. Rui Chammas, CEO, Sterlite Power Brazil, the other large geography that Sterlite operates in, left the company at the end of December, after serving for about a year and a half. A spokesperson for Sterlite Power said: “People movement is a natural part of any growing organisation. “At Sterlite Power, we invest in our people and processes. Also, being part of a larger conglomerate, Sterlite Power has access to a pool of over 250 CXOs and has never seen leadership shortages as a challenge," the spokesperson said.
