The UP Assembly Speaker today termed as "unfortunate" the decision of opposition members to boycott proceedings and run a "parallel House" and said he will send notices to them seeking their reply. The opposition has been boycotting the proceedings, accusing the treasury benches of threatening them and using unparliamentary language"Running a parallel House by members in Central Hall is unfortunate. BJP MLA Suresh Srivastava said, "Action should be taken against those who run parallel house in Central Hall". "They run paralled House, now they will run parallel police station and courts...This is condemnable..," Srivastava added. Opposition SP, BSP and Congress members, who are boycotting proceedings of the House since July 20, ran a "parallel House" in Central hall on July 24.
