Flash's security vulnerabilities are so prolific that many tech companies in the past have publicly expressed their concerns with the same. He famously did not include Flash support in the iPhone stating it was very poorly designed for touchscreen interfaces. He once said that Flash's security holes were the single biggest reasons as to why Mac computers crashed. In fact, It is actually surprising that Adobe wants to support Flash all the way up to 2020. Just like old cultures, thoughts and rituals needs purging, so does old code and software.
