Spanish suspected serial killer hands himself in to policeThe Columbian national is wanted for up to eight murders in SpainNelson David MB, a 25-year-old Columbian, was this week one of the most wanted men in Spain until he handed himself into police custody in Bilbao in northern Spain on Thursday May 5. For his part, Nelson denies any responsibility in the serial killings and claims he only turned himself in when he saw his details circulating online. The investigators, however, are in no doubt that they have a serial murderer on their hands, whether or not it turns out to be the suspect in custody. It has transpired that the Columbian requested asylum in 2019 but was denied, and so has since been living irregularly in Spain. Moreover, he has a criminal record as he was arrested that same year for fraud.
