To The Daily Sun,In early 2017, the American Society of Civil Engineers had some bad news for the condition of New Hampshire’s roads and bridges, and infrastructure as a whole. The ASCE reported that New Hampshire had received a rating of a C-, and found that 13 percent of the state’s roads and bridges are in “critical condition,” and are in need of immediate attention. Businesses are taking note of this issue, and are deciding to take their sites elsewhere. In March, NASCAR, once a huge cash cow for the Granite State, announced they would be relocating one of their cup races out of state, and the aren’t alone. With the recent announcement of Amazon searching for a second headquarters, New Hampshire submitted a bid to host the corporation's new HQ.
