Residents of Navi Mumbai have joined hands to save civic chief Tukaram Mundhe from the no-confidence motion called by the political parties of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC). For the last two days, residents have been circulating messages on WhatsApp and Facebook to prevent the no-confidence motion. For the last two days, social media has been trending to save NMMC chief Mundhe from no-confidence motion, called by 14 members of total 16 members. However, residents of Navi Mumbai, who are happy since Mundhe has been given charge of civic chief around six months ago, have flooded messages in social media to save Mundhe. In case the House passes the no-confidence motion against the Mundhe, the state chief minister might have to recall the commissioner.
