NEW DELHI: The tender process for the IPL media rights may not be held on Tuesday as the Supreme Court appointed Lodha Panel has not responded to the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) queries regarding the tenders. The board is also waiting to get a reply from the panel and on the basis of that will inform the prospective bidders. The Lodha panel wasn't available for comments. But it is understood that the panel will take time to study the tender documents, appoint an independent auditor before granting permission to complete the tender process. Already, the BCCI has received a massive response from leading media and technology companies. The tender document was available for purchase from September 19 to October 18. However, this delay won't affect the media rights value which is up for renewal from 2018 to 2027 and expected to raise billions of dollars.
