Rangers and Alfredo MorelosSky Sports have issued an apology to Celtic, Rangers and Alfredo Morelos for incorrectly translating a recent interview they did with the striker. The topic of racism was discussed, with Sky quoting the Colombian as saying he was racially abused by Celtic fans during Rangers’ 2-1 win at Parkhead last December. Morelos, however, was wrongly quoted and made no mention of being racially abused by Hoops supporters. “We have identified inaccuracies in the translation of Sky Sports News' interview with Alfredo Morelos,” a statement from the broadcaster read. “We apologise to both Celtic and Rangers football clubs as well as Alfredo Morelos for the issues caused by these errors.
