Chelsea boss Frank Lampard may be given extra funds to invest in the summer after failing to complete a transfer in January. The Blues’ two-window transfer ban was halved late last year by the Court of Arbitration for Sport and the west Londoners are allowed to do business again. However, Lampard didn’t get any additions following a strong start by his young side which has climbed up to fourth place in the Premier League table. According to The Sun, the Chelsea boss is keen to invest in the squad in other areas and could be handed an even larger budget after an uneventful January transfer window.
