United signed the attacking duo in the January transfer window, with Fernandes costing upwards of £40million from Sporting Lisbon. The addition of former Watford striker Ighalo sent shockwaves through the Premier League and McTominay revealed how he and his team-mates reacted to his and Fernandes’ arrivals. ‘Really nice guys, first and foremost they’re really nice people,’ McTominay told Sky Sports about the forwards. First impressions are very, very good.’United’s stars are currently scattered across the globe during the Premier League’s winter break.
