Siddikur carded one-under-par 69 in the second round of the €1,681,047 tournament at Hong Kong Golf Club, a whopping 17 shots behind early leader Aaron Rai of England. The 34-year old from Madaripur began the second round from his overnight position of joint 107th place in the first round where he hit four-over-par 74. He struck a single eagle and as many birdie, along with two bogeys, in the second round.
