In a feisty, topsy-turvy contest, the game ebbed and flowed between Walton Central Zone and Prime Bank South Zone at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium and at the end of the third day, South Zone require 228 runs with eight wickets remaining. The day started with Central Zone batting at two for no loss with a lead of three runs. Earlier, they score 282 runs and South Zone almost matched that first innings score with 281 before losing all of their wickets. Spinner Mehedi was the most impressive bowler for South Zone taking 5/72. Central Zone were eventually all out for 264 leaving South Zone with a target of 266 to win.
