The Jubilee administration yesterday told Cord leader Raila Odinga to stop propagating claims of rigging the August polls and produce evidence linking NIS to the ongoing listing. National Assembly majority leader Aden Duale, flanked by 11 Jubilee MPs, said Raila has sensed defeat and has embarked on “preparing his supporters psychologically for violence". “Raila is already discrediting the new IEBC commissioners and the secretariat, the Kenya Registration Bureau, the NIS and he is in court stopping the procurement of ballot papers,” Duale said. Raila on Tuesday said the Jubilee administration is using the National Intelligence Service to interfere with mass voter registration by deploying Biometric Voter Registration kits to Ethiopia and Uganda to list foreigners as voters. If Raila is not ready for these coming elections, he should prepare for the other one,” Duale said.
