Former Kisumu mayor Sam Okello has urged Nyanza leaders and residents to take voter registration seriously for opposition chief Raila Odinga to win the presidency. He decried low voter registration in the region, saying other regions are enlisting in large numbers to retain presidency. Okello said governors, senators, MPs, MCAs and all aspirants must unite in the mass registration for Raila to become next president. “How do you expect Raila to win if his own soldiers are not well armed with votes. We must wake up to the reality that only votes can send him to State House,” he said.
