The Sh800 million Isiolo phase two water project will be completed in a month, Water PS Fred Segor said yesterday. The phase-two water project was delayed for years by disputes between the communities at Maili Saba and the Isiolo Water and Sewerage Company. The Isiolo water project is funded by the national government and the African Development Bank. The Water Resource Management Authority had cleared the company to draw water from Isiolo River. The county’s water and irrigation department has been drilling boreholes, water dams and increasing piping to households.
