Home furnishings store West Elm is opening a second location in Toronto, bringing with it an added opportunity for local makers. The 16,295-square-foot store in the Yonge and Eglinton neighbourhood will feature products from seven Toronto-based artisans and designers as part of the company’s Local program. Together they make maps of cities and local neighbourhoods, art prints depicting iconic landmarks and city scenes, as well as neighbourhood mugs.
