Senate County Public Accounts and Investments Committee chairman Anyang’ Nyong’o had to declare Murang’a Governor Mwangi wa Iria a hostile witness and ended the session prematurely. At the same time, Mr Gitura claimed there were plans to kill him if he sets foot in Murang’a County. The senator said he was informed about the plot to eliminate him by parliamentary security personnel soon after he had an altercation with Mr Wa Iria.
