Security beefed up in Mombasa ahead of teachers' conference


Mombasa County Commissioner Maalim Mohamed has said security has been beefed up in the county ahead of the KSSHA teachers’ conference. “Security has been enhanced ahead of the Kenya Secondary School Heads Association (KSSHA) conference that kicks off on Sunday. Coordination between police and security firms has been boosted to improve security at the Likoni ferry channel,” said Maalim. The conference which will be held at Wild Waters, Mombasa is set to host more than 10,000 participants. The commissioner said the government will leave nothing to chance in terms of security.
