Special Olympics Kenya (SOK) will host their 2016 Floor Hockey national trials to select a team that will represent the country at the World Winter Games. Please join me in supporting our athletes as they compete for the honor of representing our great Nation at the 2017 Special Olympics World winter Games in Austria,” said SOK Director John Makathimo. “It is with great pride that we stand ready to host our 2016 Special Olympics Kenya Floor Hockey. Selected squad will represent Kenya at the 2017 Special Olympics World winter Games in Austria in the host cities of Graz and Schladming as well as Ramsau am Dachstein and Rohrmoos- Untertal. The national championships to be held at the Safaricom Indoor Arena, Kasarani today and tomorrow has attracted 84 athletes and 21 coaches from seven regions taking part in the Floor Hockey sporting activities.
