Sebi hearing will have no impact on NSE's operations: Vikram Limaye

Vikram Limaye, who took over as MD & CEO of The National Stock Exchange (NSE) in the midst of the controversial co-location scam in 2017, feels the Securities and Exchange Board of India's (Sebi) order will not have any impact on NSE's operations. The exchange, however, can't go ahead with its IPO plans, Limaye told DNA Money's Soumonty Kanungo over a telephonic interview. Few of NSE employees have been named in the Sebi order and they were asked to stay away from the markets for a few years. We have to delay that by six months, but as I said, there is no serious implication on NSE's business and operations. Do you see the Sebi order ushering in a change on how corporate misgovernance will now be dealt with?
