About a quarter of the rare blood clots were in people aged under 40, and two-thirds in those under 60. Meanwhile, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was halted in Europe following its own concerns over blood clots last month. Johnson & Johnson said in a statement: "We are supporting continued research and analysis of this rare event as we work with medical experts and global health authorities.
