Eighth grader Suraya, 14, daughter of Ramjan Ali, breathed her last in the intensive care unit around 8:30am Sunday after struggling with the stab injuries, says DMCH police outpost In-Charge Md Bachhu Miah. Cable trader Ramjan Ali has been living with his family in Bangshal of old Dhaka. On August 24, an unidentified stalker stabbed Suraya in front of her school while she was returning home, leaving her critically injured. Ramna police station Officer-in-Charge Moshiur Rahman said they have already traced the stalker and drives are on to arrest him. However, the OC denied to disclose his identity for the sake of investigation.
