Mr al-Dosari, 39, says last year's murder of dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul shows how far the bloodthirsty regime will go to silence critics. He said he later recognised one of them as intelligence officer Maher Abdulaziz Mutreb, a suspect in the Khashoggi murder. Mr al-Dosari's lawyers have served a legal notice at the Saudi embassy claiming his phone had been hacked. Nevertheless Mr al-Dosari said he will not allow the Saudi government to intimidate him. A statement from Leigh Day, a legal firm representing Mr al-Dosari, said tests on his phones were carried out in December.
