KANGAR: Chicken rice at RM2 a plate. Most of the motorists plying the road betweenn Kangar and Alor Star, Kedah will hardly miss this “RM2” roadside food stall in Sanglang here. Just like what its name suggests, the stall offers dishes such as laksa, chicken rice, chicken “soto” soup noodle, mee and kuay teow for just RM2. With three caopies and ten tables, the stall is constantly packed with customers coming from far and near. Among the bestseller meals are laksa, chicken rice and “air batu campur” (dessert made of shaved ice) at the stall, which opens from 1pm to 7pm daily except for Friday.
