Coming across the remains of whales stranded on Stewart Island's Mason Bay was a "sad yet beautiful" and ultimately humbling experience for Kiwi traveller Aaron Cluka. Cluka said he thinks it's a good thing that the whales have been left on the beach to decompose naturally.
