Beleaguered UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has written to the Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav to inform him of his decision to embark on the state-wide Samajwadi Vikas Rath Yatra from November 3. Trouble in the party has been brewing ever since Mulayam Singh Yadav summarily removed Akhilesh Yadav as the state party chief and replaced him with Shivpal Yadav. The SP chief further complicated matters by his reluctance to categorically back Akhilesh Yadav as the party's CM candidate. Mulayam Singh Yadav has often claimed that as long as he is around, his party will never split.
