Ruto gives Nzoia managers six months to pay or go home

Deputy President William Ruto has given the Nzoia Sugar Company board six months to pay farmers or risk going home. He said Jubilee gave the company Sh803 million to enable the management to pay farmers. Ruto said contracted farmers have said they have not received payments for four months. “I want the board of management of Nzoia Sugar through chairman Joash Wamang’oli to end this payment problem within six months or they will be shown the door,” the DP said. Ruto was speaking at Chebosi Secondary School on Saturday during the burial of Webuye West MP Dan Wanyama’s mother.
