Genghis to seek approval for clients’ partial

Clients of Genghis Capital, a company closely associated with Chase Bank Group might soon receive partial payments of their investments. Chase Bank Custody, a wholly owned entity by Chase Bank, was the Custodian for the GenCap Unit Trust Fund, and holds the collection and investment accounts. The investment bank will hold its third annual general meeting today where it will seek the approval of unit holders to allow partial redemption of the units. In an AGM invite to clients, the fund manager of the GenCap Unit trust Fund said shareholders will be given a chance to vote on whether they shall be given partial payments. Following the closure of Chase Bank on April 7, Genghis Capital sought to assure its clients in a brief that it is a stable company financially and that its business would operate normally.
