Russian Ambassador in Cairo Georgiy Borisenko- the photo courtesy of the official website of the Russian embassy in CairoCAIRO - 12 November 2020: The Russian government has developed a 63-billion-dollar plan to manage the impact of COVID-19 pandemic within two years, the Russian Ambassador in Cairo Georgiy Borisenko stated Thursday. According to his statements to MENA, the plan aims to boost economy and support people. Borisenko said Russia earmarked dlrs 2.6 billion for supporting different districts in the country, marking a 56 percent increase compared to the previous year. Russia has allocated about 7.6 million dollars to families with children, and an additional 2.2 million dollars to curb unemployment, he added. Russia reported 122,904 new cases from October 26 to November 1, marking a 7.3 percent rise in comparison with the previous week which recorded 114,543 cases.
