Among the student organizations, only Chhatra League and Bangabandhu Prajanma League demanded polling booths inside the halls, while other organizations wanted those to be set up outside halls. Golam Kibria, president of RU Chhatra League, said: “Our demand is within the Rucsu constitution. We want the election in line with the rules.”Other organizations demanded immediate announcement of the poll schedule, updating of voter list, amending and modernizing the Rucsu constitution and more. During the meeting, Rucsu treasurer Mir Imam Ibne Wahed, member secretary of the dialogue committee Abu Sayeed Md Nazmul Haider, and other student leaders were also present.
