State Minister for Primary and Mass Education, Md Zakir Hossain, disclosed the information to reporters at his secretariat office on Sunday. Of the total recipients, 33,000 students got scholarships under a talent pool program, while 49,500 were in the general category. Scholarship recipients in the talent pool program will receive Tk 300 per month, while those in the general category will get Tk225 per month. Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Ebtedayee Examinations were held across the country in November, 2018, where 26,52,896 students appeared.
