Differently abled students demand punishment for Rabiul's attackers


"If the guilty are not punished immediately, we shall go for tougher action," they announced from a human chain program held near the university’s Madhur Canteen after bringing out a procession on Sunday. Most of the students with eye sight disabilities brought out a procession from the university’s Madhur Canteen area which paraded through the main streets of campus and ended at the Arts Building main gate. Addressing the human chain program, Surman Ali, a resident of Bijoy Ekattor hall said: “Regular students have to learn lessons from Rabiul’s protest. I went on hunger strike as I experienced various irregularities in the polls. Some students blocked his path and asked him if he attended the hunger strike for fresh elections.
