Royal Ascot’s incredible worldwide appeal will be underlined this week, with 20 broadcasters across the globe beaming the pinnacle of the flat racing season to over 170 international territories. The numbers mark an increase for the third successive year, with ITV Racing leading the host broadcasting transmission with a daily five-hour programme. Other broadcasters taking coverage outside of Europe include Eclat (Southeast Asia) and Star+/ESPN (Latin America), with both offering access on their digital platforms. The Royal Meeting continues to have a strong presence in Oceania with Racing.com (Australia) being joined by Spark Sport servicing New Zealand. Charlton TV will cover the action in Israel, while 48 countries in Africa are served by Super Sport.
