KEPALA BATAS: The Registrar of Societies (RoS) has agreed to the independent audit firm proposed by DAP to oversee and conduct its Central Executive Committee (CEC) re-election. RoS director-general Datuk Mohammad Razin Abdullah said DAP had proposed the appointment of Grant Thornton to replace PKF Consulting. "We have made known our agreement to DAP and it is now up to the party to conduct its CEC re-election," he told newsmen. It is understood that the DAP CEC re-election has been slated for Nov 12. After the re-election, there were claims by some party members that they were denied the right to attend the party congress as delegates.
