SHAH ALAM: A lone gunman escaped with almost RM60,000 after robbing a bank in Section 32, Kota Kemuning here yesterday. Shah Alam district police chief Assistant Commissioner Shafien Mamat said the robber had entered the bank at 3.04pm and immediately whipped out a pistol. The robber then fired shot in the air before forcing bank employees to fill his bag with cash. He ordered several employees at the bank counter to fill a bag with cash before escaping. The bank staff were also left unharmed,” Shafien said in a statement today.
