Police in St. John's are investigating an incident during which a man reported his car was taken from him in the west end of St. John's early Tuesday morning. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said the driver called them around 3:30 a.m. to report that an armed man had forced him out of his car on Topsail Road, near the boundary with Mount Pearl. Police are still looking for the vehicle and suspect, but aren't saying what kind of weapon was used.
