Akaroa Community and School Library will be closed for four weeks from November 18 while improvements are made to the building. The Akaroa Community and School Library will soon be closed for repairs and refurbishment. Instead, we are encouraging library members to borrow a month’s load of items before the library closes. It is expected the Akaroa Community and School Library will reopen to the public on December 16. During the library’s closure, the nearest libraries for Akaroa residents will be Little River Library and Te Hapua: Halswell Centre.
