Meanwhile, another student Nurul Syazana Ahmed Faisal, 16 said she was also fast asleep and was only awakened by the screams of her school mates. "When I opened my eyes, fire was already lapping up the ceiling and was spreading towards the windows. Speaking at a press conference, Negri Sembilan Fire and Rescue department director Norazam Khamis said the fire started at 1.50am from the ceiling of the all-girl school. A total of 15 firemen fought the blaze and two fire engines were despatched from the Rembau and Tampin fire stations.
