Her friend Cayley Brooks is plus-size and Gerbeza wanted her to confront the negative way she felt about herself. Photographer Tea Gerbeza has titled her project "Start Healing." Tea Gerbeza believes people can live a freer live if they shed their negative self-image. Tea Gerbeza underwent surgery for her scoliosis. Tea Gerbeza still battles with her scoliosis today.
