These incredible drone photographs show the UK’s largest recycling mass, which was abandoned five years ago and may take £6million to clean up. The giant tip is found in a former airfield in North Killingholme, North Lincolnshire. Thousands of green sacks have been left in rows across the vast site - some of them have split, spewing festering rubbish. Locals say trash has piled higher and higher since the the site was abandoned by private recycling company North Killingholme Recycling Ltd in 2014. North Lincolnshire Council has been left the clean-up bill, but councillor Richard Hannigan told MailOnline today that the site did not pose a health risk.
