Work on reconstructing a new Kerala and rehabilitating those affected by the floods are progressing, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said. Reconstruction of 15,521 houses was progressing. The State government had prepared a blueprint for completing the reconstruction by eliciting the views of experts from different walks of life. The development partner conclave held here last week had helped to secure untied development policy loan of the World Bank to the tune of ₹3,500 crore. The government had decided to have a follow up for the conclave, he said.
