Pensioner Colin Gregory recorded the incident as he sat at a red light. His granddaughter Cathy Skinner said she believed the driver had no tax or insurance. It then narrowly missed a blue Ford Focus as it went over the crossroads in Brading, Isle of Wight at 11.50am yesterday. A Hampshire Police spokesman said: 'Police attempted to stop the vehicle on Morton Road, Sandown, at approximately 11.50 on May 12. 'The vehicle made off from police and there was a pursuit, however the vehicle evaded officers and was lost.'
