A 55-year-old madrasa teacher has been jailed over charges of sodomizing a teenage student in Rajshahi. The accused was identified as Abdul Zabbar Mahmud Zihadi, teacher of Jamia Rahmania Madrasa, hailing from Boalia union of the district. Boalia police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Aman Ullah said: “The 14-year-old boy came to police station and lodged a complaint against the teacher on Tuesday night. He is a resident student of the madrasa.”According to the OC, police detained Zabbar the same night.
