Rajasthan Congress takes to damage control mode


In order to keep party’s unity ‘intact’ ahead of general assembly election, slated in the final quarter of the year, Rajasthan Congress has started exercise to ‘appease’ senior leaders of the party who failed to find space in Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) list. A fresh list of Co-Option members is being drafted by the party and will soon be released to accommodate left out leaders. Notably, name of former Bharatpur MLA Vishwendra Singh was included in a rectified list when he criticised the state party leaders for ignoring him. The party high command, upon the feedback of resentment among leaders has given nod to issue a fresh list which would ‘accommodate’ left out leaders. “Soon, a fresh list of Co-Option members can be released accommodating several leaders that were left out.
