Patna, Jan. 13: The JP Senani Samman scheme is meant for needy people, JDU national general secretary Shyam Rajak said today in what seemed a veiled attack on Lalu Prasad. "The JP Movement took place to bring change in the functioning of the system, not to gain power. During the JP Movement, the issue was eliminating poverty, corruption and to provide free education to youth." Asked if his comments were aimed at Lalu, Rajak said: "For me the indivi-dual does not matter, what matter are principles and intentions." Asked about the controversy, Lalu's eldest daughter Misa Bharti said: "The whole world knows that my father actively took part in the JP Movement and he was with JP.
