Bhubaneswar, Jan. 13: Series of CBI raids on the premises of BJD leaders yesterday has thrown a spanner in chief minister Naveen Patnaik's attempts at building bridges with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The bonhomie, though, has been short-lived with CBI raids on BJD MP Rabindra Jena, party MLA Pravat Biswal and chief minister's personal aide Saroj Sahu making party leaders see red. BJD leaders have seen "a BJP-hatched conspiracy" behind the CBI move. Modi refused to criticise the chief minister despite vociferous demands from a section of the partisan crowd. All this, however, has come to naught with CBI raids against BJD leaders.
