RCMP make arrest after officer dragged by car in northern Saskatchewan
LA LOCHE, SASK.—RCMP say they have arrested a man suspected of dragging an officer during a vehicle stop in northern Saskatchewan. Officers arrested Colin Evan Lemaigre in a home in La Loche on Sunday. The 32-year-old La Loche resident faces charges that include assaulting a peace officer with a weapon and dangerous driving. Mounties say the officer pulled a car over on a highway south of La Loche on Dec. 21. RCMP say the officer was treated in hospital and has since returned to work.
