Police said the investigation shows that Ibrahim was in his car when someone walked up and shot him several times. Just two days before the fatal shooting, at around 1:35 a.m. on Oct. 20, Ibrahim and his friend left a business establishment in Mississauga and travelled east in their car on Hwy. At that time, a dark-coloured SUV pulled alongside the vehicle, and Ibrahim and his friend were shot at several times. Two days later, when Ibrahim was shot dead, the suspect fled in a similar-looking dark-coloured SUV. On Dec. 10, investigators told the public they had seized a brown 2012 Infinity IFX SUV they said was the same one used in Ibrahim’s fatal shooting.
