MANILA, Philippines — Two earthquakes jolted Davao City yesterday, but no damage or injuries were reported, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs). The first quake, measuring magnitude 3.8, occurred 22 kilometers southwest of Davao City at 1:30 a.m. It was felt at Intensity 4, classified by Phivolcs as moderately strong, in Davao City. The second quake, a magnitude 3.5, occurred at 8:31 a.m. The quakes were not expected to generate aftershocks, Phivolcs said.
