Transport Minister Obaidul Quader has said the Rohingya people are fleeing to Bangladesh as Myanmar’s position over the issue is ambiguous. “Myanmar’s position over the Rohingya issue is not clear yet. That is way the influx of Rohingya is still continuing,” he told reporters at Kutupalong Rohingya refugee camp on Thursday. Quader, also the general secretary of the ruling Awami League, visited the camp to hand out a portion of the 107-ton Indian relief items among the refugees. The minister was accompanied by Awami League Joint General Secretary Jahangir Kabir Nanak and officials of the Indian High Commission in Dhaka.
